c) Why civil society is important in the context of Nepal:
→ In the context of Nepal, civil society is very important. Civil society raises its voice for the rights and interests of citizens. They also help to create pressure against social problems and distortions. In addition to this, civil society aims to develop a collective spirit for the greater good of the society, to raise awareness about various events that have happened in the society through a critical approach, civil society creates pressure on the state agencies to be accountable to the citizens. Therefore, civil society is important.
