Elements of Democracy


 

1. What is population? What are demographic factors? 

→ The complete number of individuals living inside a specific geographic or geographic region is called population. Demographic factors are given below:-

i. Births

ii. Deaths

iii. Migration

2. What is migration? How does migration reduce population size? 

→ Migration refers to the act of permanently relocating from one location to another. Individuals move from one location to another in search of work or convenience. In the migration process The population of any area is out of control because it is growing in the location where they live permanently while declining in the area where they originally lived. As a result, migration causes population decline.

3. What are the possible causes of migration? Mention.
= The perks, amenities, good health, education, transportation, communication, etc. that migrants receive are good or convenient. Besides beneficial in locations where people migrate People move from one location to another because of amenities including the environment, emergency services, employment opportunities, and high-quality education, business facilities, water facilities, transportation facilities, etc.

4. How do births and deaths reflect the population's health? 

= Birth refers to any woman having a live kid while in her reproductive cycle. The majority of fertile women are between the ages of 15 and 39. Any geographic area's population tends to grow as a result of births.
